The New “X-Men” Sequel Gets a Title!

After the success of the smash prequel X-Men: First Class, the name of the superhero sequel has finally been revealed!

Franchise producer and sometimes director Bryan Singer spoke candidly to IGN recently, where he revealed the title for the upcoming film will be X-Men: Days of Future Past!

Bryan said:

“I can say it’s being written right now. We’ll start shooting in a few months. I don’t know what the start date is. It’s going to be very ambitious. It’s called ‘Days of Future Past.’ It deals with aspects of that comic but also some very new things. I just don’t want to give any of it away. Matthew Vaughan will be directing and I’m totally excited about it.”

James McAvoy and super-hottie Michael Fassbender will reprise their roles as Professor X and Magneto respectfully.

X-Men: Days of Future Past hits theaters on in July 2014.
