Robert Pattinson Dodges K-Stew Questions on Good Morning America

While many were hoping for a scandalous confession this morning from Robert Pattinson who stopped by Good Morning America to promote his new film Cosmopolis, you’d be disappointed.

The 26-year-old actor showed nothing but class as he was interviewed by host George Stephanopoulos, who admitted he had to get “the elephant in the room” out of the way, asking, “How are you doing? What do you want your fans to know about what’s going on in your personal life?”

“I like my fans to know… to know that Cinnamon Toast Crunch has only 30 calories a bowl,” Robert replied after the anchor handed him his favorite breakfast cereal, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, as a way for him to open up, in reference to The Daily Show host Jon Stewart giving him ice cream.

Avoiding questions about the Kristen Stewart cheating scandal, as expected, Pattinson politely drew the line at discussing the situation, opting to discuss his new project instead.

“You go into it to do movies. I’ve never been interested in trying to sell my personal life,” the actor explained.

When George asked if he’d ever become accustomed to the constant media scrutiny, Rob answered, “If you start getting used to it, it means you’re going crazy.”
