If you were wondering what’s really going on between Rihanna and Chris Brown, well the answer was finally revealed during the singer’s interview with Oprah Winfrey for Oprah’s Next Chapter.

While the “We Found Love” hitmaker isn’t romantically seeing her ex, that doesn’t mean she has lost feelings for Brown, admitting that she is still in love with him!

“We love each other and we probably always will, and that’s not anything that we’re going to try to change,” RiRi told Oprah. “That’s not something you can change. That’s not something you can shut off, if you’ve ever been in love.”

The Grammy Award winning singer also confirmed rumours that she and Brown reunited in St. Tropez a few weeks ago. “We went to a mutual friend’s party on a yacht. It’s awkward because I still love him…my stomach drops and I have to maintain this poker face and not let it get to the outer part of me. I have to maintain that and suppress it.”

While both singers have appeared on remixes of each other’s single’s, the Barbados beauty revealed that she and Brown are “very, very close friends” and pointed out that she’s not back together with him, as he is “in a relationship of his own” with Karrueche Tran.

Still, Rihanna admitted that she and her ex have “built a trust again” and “have maintained a very close friendship since the restraining order has been dropped.”

The singer continued, saying that she still cares about Brown’s well being, “I think he was the love of my life,” she added. “He was my first love and I see that he loved me the same way…I truly love him—the main thing for me is he’s at peace. I’m not at peace if he’s not happy or he’s still lonely. I care. It actually matters that he finds that peace.”
