The judges seats may be filled, but there’s still one important role on X Factor that’s up for grabs.
Simon Cowell is still on the look out for a new host for the upcoming second season to replace Steve Jones, who departed from the music reality show back in January.
Sources are reporting that Cowell wants to go back to his original plan of having two hosts – one male, one female – and is meeting with a number of potential canditates.
George Clooney’s leading lady Stacy Keibler has apparently met with X Factor bosses for the gig, but other names being floated around include E! darlings Khloe Kardashian Odom and Kelly Osbourne, Mario Lopez, BET’s 106 & Park host Terrence J, sportscaster Erin Andrews and radio personality Mike Catherwood.
Unfortunately, we won’t find out who will nab the coveted position anytime soon, as Cowell is in no rush to fill the vacant spot during X Factor‘s current audition process. “Simon really wants to take his time,” a source told E! News. “The two-person thing didn’t work out the first time and he wants to make sure it works this time.”
