It’s one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and with some of the hunkiest guys in the world, it’s easy to see why!

Steven Soderbergh‘s Magic Mike follows the story of Adam (Alex Pettyfer), a young and shy 19-year-old construction worker who finds his own as a male stripper in Xquisite, a women’s only nightclub, alongside Mike(Channing Tatum), Big Dick Richie (Joe Manganiello), Ken (Matt Bomer), Tito (Adam Rodriguez), Tarzan (Kevin Nash) and Dallas (Matthew McConaughey). With the help of Mike, Adam impresses as he undresses but faces the troubles of sex, drugs and alcohol outside of the club.

Despite the troubles in Adam’s life, Mike dreams big and decides to pursue his idea of opening a custom-made furniture business, while falling in love with Adam’s sister Brooke (Cody Horn).

Loosly based on the pre-fame lifestyle of Tatum as a 19-year-old stripper in Tampa, Florida, Channing puts on a memorable performance, full of fantastic choreography as he dances and moves with ease. However, we struggled to follow the storyline, and thought the way clips were pieced together were rather messy. Nevertheless, the raunchy stripper film gets two thumbs up from us for the good looks and six-pack abs from the men alone!

Overall, if you’re going to see Magic Mike, chances are you’re not going for the plot! So if you fancy a girls night out with lots of eye-candy, you definitely won’t be disappointed!
