In shocking news, it sounds like Nicki Minaj will be joining Mariah Carey as one of the new judges on American Idol!

Although not yet confirmed, sources say the deal is “100% done”!

“I’m not sure the deal is completely done yet, but yes, she is definitely doing it, a few more slight things to sign off on but it is happening,” an insider dished.

While another source revealed, “[Nicki Minaj is] 100% confirmed to judge American Idol.”

Last month, Nicki had to postpone her New Zealand and Australian tour due to conflicting schedules but stated her Barbz would be happy and surprised with what she had planned for the future, but little did we know what she had instore!

According to sources, Idol will accommodate four judges this year, and are still searching for another two, with Diddy, Alanis Morissette, Nick Jonas, Pharrell, Keith Urban and Enrique Iglesias in talks to join Carey and the Harajuku Barbie.
