She’s well on her way to making her Hollywood comeback, but reports stating Lindsay Lohan is close to nabbing a role in Scary Movie 5 are simply not true, according to sources.
While an offer hasn’t been made to the controversial actress, sources have confirmed that Lohan has had a meeting with Dimension Films’ Bob Weistein about starring in the upcoming flick.
“They had a great meeting and they’re going to continue talking,” the source told E! News. “But there’s no part for her right now and there’s no part being written for her yet.”
Both sides have expressed interest in working together, but as for fifth installment of the comedy franchise, Dimension announced early last month that High School Musical star Ashley Tisdale will star.
Lohan is attempting to get her career back on track. She recently wrapped Liz & Dick, a made-for-TV movie in which she plays the late Elizabeth Taylor opposite Kiwi actor Grant Bowler as Richard Burton. She’s currently filming The Canyons alongside male porn star James Deen.
