Celebrating Vogue‘s 120th anniversary, Lady Gaga has gone and leaked the September 2012 issue’s cover, featuring the eccentric pop star in a long purple gown.

“SHH DONT TELL TWITTER/ SEPT ISSUE OF VOGUE MAGAZINE/ Sorry Anna [Wintour] but the underground kids deserve it. bisous!” Mother Monster wrote on her fan site.

In the accompanying article, the “Marry The Night” hitmaker admits she likes to “feel a little irresponsible and act like I’m nineteen,” which includes sneaking into bars, dancing topless and having sex on the beach.

When it was time for the Haus of Gaga to put the Born This Way Ball together, the singer said “OK, what if I was someone’s grandma and I was going to a concert tonight. How would I know that it was a Gaga show? And we all just sort of looked at each other and said,‘The meat dress.’”

As for her music, Gaga told the mag that she doesn’t “make records for people to listen to and go, ‘Wow, she’s a genius.’”

She explained, “I’d really like you to order a drink, maybe kiss the person you came with that evening, or rediscover something about your past that makes you feel even more brave.”
