Everyone knows she’s a powerhouse when it comes to releasing hits, and now Lady Gaga looks to do it all over again after confirming the completion of her upcoming third full-length album.
“Exciting news little monsters,” the singer, currently on her Born This Way Ball World Tour wrote on Twitter. “I’ve played my new record for my label and will be announcing my new Album Title in September! X”
Some of the people Mother Monster has played the new record for is her good friend and opening act, Lady Starlight, as well as her co-manager Vincent Herbert who teased what Little Monsters can expect to hear in an interview with MTV last month.
“[It's] just [an] insane, great record. She’s on tour right now, but it’s just going to be a great record. Look out for the unexpected when it comes to her,” he said. “We’re doing it on the road right now, so it’s a little hard, but it’s going to be great.”
Back in December, Gaga said that she was already working on new material and already had the highly-anticipated album title in mind. “I’ve started writing it and I have the name for it and all the concepts are beginning to flourish and take place,” she said. “I’m excited to put it out, but it’s not done yet. So I’ll put it out when it’s done.”
While no other information has been released about The Lady’s new album, it’ll be interesting to see which creative direction Gaga takes, given her transformation in sound from The Fame, The Fame Monster to Born This Way.
