Recently, Alex Pettyfer was confirmed to play the male lead in the Nick Cassavetes directed flick, which revolves around two lovers who are on the run after selling a fake snuff film, only to return to Los Angeles years later to rescue the woman’s younger sister.

The Rum Diaries beauty Amber Heard has reportedly been asked to join the cast and offered the part, however her rep made no comment.

Kristen’s camp could not be reached, but Voltage Productions (who are behind the film) declined to comment on details but noted that an announcement would be made in the near future.
