Glee star Kevin McHale has reportedly joined the long list of possible candidates to host the upcoming season of The X Factor!

As previously reported, Simon Cowell‘s hit competition show is on the look out for two hosts – one male, one female – to replace Steve Jones, who departed the show back in January.

The potential hosts include Khloe Kardashian, Stacy Keibler, Ashley Roberts, Kelly Osbourne, Mario Lopez, Erin Andrews, Terrence J and Mike Catherwood, and now McHale!

The actor has already worked with the show in the past – he hosted a behind-the-scenes featurette during season one’s premiere – and according to sources, the gig wouldn’t interfere with his requirements to film Glee!

McHale is no stranger to hosting big events – he previously co-hosted the 2012 Teen Choice Awards with new series judge Demi Lovato last month.

An announcement is expected to be made soon, as the new season is set to premiere on September 12!
