According to new reports, Katie received a helping hand from Cruise’s ex-wife, Nicole Kidman!

While the 45-year-old actress has avoided questions regarding her ex-husband for years, sources confirm she reached out to Katie.

The two have been talking for weeks and kept their private friendship top secret, as Us Weekly reported, “She was very supportive to Katie over the last few weeks. They’ve spoken on the phone. She told her, ‘I’ve been there, too. Hang in there. You’ll get through it.’”

One thing the two women have in common is that they were both 33-years-old at the time of their breakups from Cruise, and each had children with the Rock of Ages actor.
