JUSTIN BIEBER: Under The Mistletoe Review

Christmas has come early for Beliebers, with Justin Bieber releasing his Christmas themed album, Under The Mistletoe on October 28.

From the first listen, it’s clear that Under The Mistletoe differs from Justin’s previous albums. The most noticeable difference being Justin’s all grown up. His growth and maturity as a song writer and vocalist has improved vastly, and he examples this by using his new deeper and stronger voice on the song “Home This Christmas”, harmonizing beautifully with The Band Perry‘s front woman Kimberley Perry.

The only disappointment was “Drummer Boy”, which features rapper Busta Rhymes. The opening forty-five seconds was excellent, but once the Biebs starts channeling his alter-ego Shawty Mane, the Christmas song loses it’s appeal and authenticity. However, one bad apple doesn’t spoil the bunch.

There’s something for everyone on Under The Mistletoe, with guest appearances from R&B superstars Usher and Boys II Men, rapper Busta Rhymes, country group The Band Perry and pop diva Mariah Carey.
