Helping others get their foot in the music industry, Justin Bieber has joined The X Factor as a celebrity mentor to L.A. Reid‘s group of singers!

The “Boyfriend” hitmaker will appear during the judges’ house round where the four judges have to choose four contestants to compete in the final 16.

Justin was snapped filming a segment with Reid in Los Angeles on Monday, where he put on a special, mini performance and was caught busting a move!

“long day but great day. just like old times! thanks,” the 18-year-old singer tweeted to his real-life mentor L.A. Reid, before adding, “away from twitter all day getting this work in. missed my peoples. #BELIEBERS love you.”

This isn’t the first time the Biebs has appeared on the show. He performed with Stevie Wonder and eliminated contestant Drew Ryniewicz last season.
