As we all know, Taylor Swift is dating 18-year-old Conor Kennedy, but now the country singer has received a huge blessing from the family’s matriarch, Ethel!

The singer appears to have won over the entire family, with Conor’s grandmother telling journalists at the Television Critics Association event in Beverly Hills on Wednesday (August 1) that they “should be so lucky” to welcome Swift into the family.

Conor’s aunt, Rory Kennedy, even gave her own praise, saying, that Taylor “is a great friend of all of ours… She’s awesome. We love her!”

According to reports, Ethel could be responsible for the budding romance, after being introduced to Taylor last year.

The “Back to December” singer told Vogue earlier this year that she’s a big fan of the Kennedy family, describing the moment she met Ethel as “the only time in my life I have ever been starstruck.”

Conor and Swift linked up at a Fourth of July celebration held at the Kennedy complex and have been spotted on numerous dates around New York and Massachusetts.
