Hollywood Reacts to Obama’s Support of Gay Marriage


President Barack Obama publicaly voiced his support for same-sex mrariage during an interview with Good Morning America‘s Robin Roberts on Wednesday (May 9).

“I’ve been going through an evolution on this issue. I’ve always been adamant that gay and lesbian Americans should be treated fairly and equally,” the commander in chief said.

“At a certain point, I just concluded that for me, personally, it is important for me to go ahead and affirm that I think that same-sex couples should be able to get married.”

The comments created an uproar in Hollywood, leading many celebrities to share their opinions on Twitter. Here’s how they responded:
