According to reports, the One Direction heartthrob has been instructed by his management to stay single and cut down on his party boy lifestyle after abusive comments aimed at any girl who is linked to him circle the web.

An insider close to the English boyband told Star magazine, “Harry has been told to cut back on the partying.”

Adding, “Harry feels bad about it. He hates that fact that any girl he is linked to gets such foul abuse.

“But his bosses say that he should simply stay single for the time being to stop it happening. He can’t win!”

Last year, 32-year-old Caroline Flack received criticism on Twitter after news of her relationship with the 18-year-old went public.

She said, “I knew they were just a minority of One Direction fans and all very young – it’s a kind of fanatical obsession.”
