The leader of Odd Future Wolf Gang Kill Them All, Tyler, The Creator hit it big earlier this year after dropping his single, “Yonkers” from his second studio album, Goblin.

Produced and written by Tyler, the song caused some controversy. With it’s homophobic and violent lyrics directed at B.o.B., Hayley Williams and Bruno Mars, “I’ll crash that f*cking airplane at that f*ggot n*gga B.o.B is in / And stab Bruno Mars in his g*ddamn esophagus / And won’t stop until the cops come in”

Despite the controversy, the video became a viral hit, receiving praise from Kanye West who called it “The video of 2011″. And the “All of the Lights” rapper wasn’t far off. Tyler won Best New Artist at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards and “Yonkers” was nominated for Video of the Year, which saw him compete against heavyweights, Katy Perry, Beastie Boys, Bruno Mars and Adele.
