It was the hottest party in the Southern Hemisphere, and the grand opening of The Marquee Nightclub at The Star in Sydney, Australia had quite the star-studded guest list on Friday night (March 30).

Paris Hilton caused quite a commotion when she arrived on the scene. Soaking up the media attention, the sociallite posed for the shutterbugs on the red carpet before heading inside to kick the hot event off.

Also in the house were Minka Kelly and new beau Wilmer Valderrama, as well as Nick Lachey and pregnant wife Vanessa Minnillo, who proudly showed off her growing baby bump.

Kellan Lutz and his Australian girlfriend Sharni Vinson were also on hand for the big night, and were more than happy to stop and pose for the papaprazzi.

Rounding off the guest list were Ashlee Simpson, Joe Jonas, Mel B., Slash, Jemaine Dupri, Isabel Lucas and Abbie Cornish.
