It’s one of the biggest events of the year, and some of Hollywood’s biggest stars came out for the Costume Institute Gala in New York City on Monday night (May 7).

Held at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, A-List couples such as Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake and Tom Brady and Giselle Bundchen made their presence known alongside other celebrities such as Beyonce, Kristen Stewart and more during the course of the festivities.

This year’s MET Gala saw Carey Mulligan acting as honorary co-chair with fellow co-chairs including designer Miuccia Prada and Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour.

Meanwhile, the theme of the 2011 Costume Institute Gala was “Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations”.

Others attending the swanky event included Jessica Alba, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Tim Tebow, Bruno Mars, Scarlett Johansson, Lea Michele, Eva Mendes and Emma Stone, along with music superstars such as Rihanna, Kanye West, Jonas Brothers, Lana Del Rey and Mick Jagger.
